Actually I dont know.
But if you ask me what I am doing for a living, I can tell you. I used to work for the Singapore government planning the roads and public infrastructure. Then I decided that it doesn’t mean anything to me and so started teaching Maths in a local school. It was fun, challenging, tiring at times.. but a decision I never regretted.
If you ask me what my life revolves around, I would say volunteering, my practices and listening to classical music. I used to play the Sitar too, though I have stopped now
But just holding my Sitar and strumming the strings used to be meditative for me. I regret quitting. But I know post-June, Vinod will guide me in my journey into the world of music and I am looking forward to that
If you want to know what means the most to me, my answer would be Isha, Sadhuguru & Vinod. Very fortunately for me these are co-existing beautifully. My love life and spiritual life have blended in well. There is love in my spirituality and there is spirituality in my love life. So I am a happy woman
If I have to count my blessings:
1) The fortune of knowing Sadhguru and connecting with him everyday through my practices.
2) Shoonya and my Silence practice.
3) A lovely family, despite my occasional tussle with them over my involvement with Isha
and of course a very caring husband-to-be who values his practices and volunteering too!! yay!
4) To be born in a war free place , to have enough money for my needs .. hence I have the freedom to think of Yoga and inner well being.
and many more blessings i would say…
If you are curious about my weakness, I cant resist Indian sweets and er..Puris
I just read your blog. My name is Komala (from Malaysia) and I’m new to Isha although I did go thru the IE pgm in March. Am inspired by your experience. Hope to visit the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore later this month. Wish me luck.
Take care, all the best,
Komala
